　　Hot product: Heinz's condiments and sauces range

　　In 1869, Henry John Heinz started selling home-grown horseradish out of his family’s vegetable garden. In 2011, Heinz stays true to the heart of the company and launches its Condiments and Sauces Range in a convenient resealable jar allowing for easy spreading. The range has been prepared from the finest quality ingredients and are great accompaniments for any catering purpose.

　　Sweet Mustard Pickle

　　This versatile home-made style pickle is prepared from a blend of cured and cut pickled cucumbers, pickled cauliflower and pickled onion then mixed in a spicy mustard sauce. A perfect accompaniment to traditional corned beef and potatoes, with cold meats or in a salad roll.

　　Fruit Chutney

　　A traditional-style fruit chutney made from vine-ripened tomatoes, onions, apples, sultanas and currants.

　　A wonderful accompaniment to cold meats, on a sandwich or baguette, or dolloped next to a barbequed steak with salad.

　　Capers

　　These tiny unopened flower buds the Capparis Spinosa are graded, pickled and packed in a brine and left to mature. The pickled capers are then further processed by desalting and repacked in a vinegar and spice style brine. They are delicious served with smoked fish, tossed with pasta, in salads or chopped and added to sauces and dressings.

　　Gherkins

　　Fresh gherkin cucumbers, which are cured in the traditional manner, then matured in a sweet vinegar syrup infused with a selection of herbs and spices. The Gherkin Pickled are a lovely accompaniment as a ploughman’s lunch, finely chopped and added to dressings and sauces, or tossed through a salad. The Gherkin Spread and Sweet Slices are ideal served with a matured cheddar cheese, on sandwiches or in a hamburger.

　　Satay Sauce

　　Thick and spicy this delicious peanut flavoured sauce has a rich golden brown colour with a pleasing texture of chopped peanuts and peppercorn throughout. Delicious served over beef, chicken or seafood or tossed through potato & vegetable salad.
