Heinz Encourages Ketchup Fans to Write an “Ode to Awesome”

Heinz is calling out for creative minds, which love poetry and prefer to have the taste of their meals amplified with perfect ketchup. Through its Facebook page, the brand is encouraging poetic individuals to come and join its new “Ode to Awesome” contest, which will be running online from July 12 to August 1, for a chance to get $30 gift cards, given out on a daily basis, along with two grand prizes of $500 cards and a year’s supply of Heinz ketchup.
The contestants are challenged with a task to compose a short poem by dragging and dropping the words (minimum 7 and maximum 15) from the list. The finished work should contain three main words (Heinz Ketchup and Chili’s), which are already glued to the virtual card. The submissions can have rhyming lines or come as a blank verse—the only thing important here is that finally they should introduce a real inspirational ode.
